I really enjoyed this story. The look into Chinese America was very interesting and makes me want to try to understand more about traditional Chinese medicine and Chinese astrology. Chinatown, the parade, the foods all are part of this experience and so well written I felt I was there. The two lead characters, each brought different life experiences to the book.

A friend recommended this book and although it was not something I would have normally picked up, it was very entertaining. I enjoyed the descriptions of NYC and the dynamics of the women's relationship. I hope she writes more.
I'm not overly fond of romance novels, but I mostly enjoyed this one. The sex scenes are highly detailed. Nothing like getting turned on while riding the bus and reading a novel.

This story came at a much needed time to be uplifted and to celebrate the power of our love as women. I feel more positive that we shall prevail in these times of hate.

Great book by a great writer. Lynch's ability to draw out emotion in the reader is top notch, and her ability to cast light on a culture in a completely accessible way is great. The romance was the icing on the cake. Thank you, Katie!
